Our story
Built for the mountains, not for show.
Rauland Høgfjellshotell opened in 1949, when reaching 1,000 metres still meant a real journey. Three generations later, the same family still runs the kitchen, the reception and the trails outside. We are not a chain. We are a mountain hotel — with all the warmth, quirks and quiet pride that comes with it.
